Digital Twins (DT) are very useful tools in the industrial field because they allow to simulate and predict the behavior of a real object or production chain, allowing the reduction of production losses, the optimization of processes, the identification of any anomalies.

“AI Bootcamp for Science”: Bootcamp online di due giorni, durante il quale i partecipanti impareranno come applicare strumenti, tecniche e algoritmi di intelligenza artificiale a problemi della vita reale. Si avrà la possibilità di studiare i concetti chiave delle reti neurali , come costruire modelli di deep learnin e come misurare e migliorare l’accuratezza dei modelli statistici. Inoltre si avrà l’opportunità anche di imparare tecniche essenziali di pre-processing dei dati per garantire una solida pipeline di Machine Learning.

26-28 October 2021 – Training

The course is an introduction to the OpenFOAM open-source computational fluid dynamics framework, in which the typical numerical modeling work-flow will be shown: pre-processing, computation, post-processing. This use will be shown in an HPC (High Performance Computing) environment for the creation and / or import of real geometries for engineering use, with numerical modeling of increasing complexity. Examples of comparison with ISV codes will be shown.

12-13 October 2021 – Training

The course will go into detail on modern Artificial Intelligence (AI) techniques used in research and production, focusing both on the theory behind algorithms and on practical examples run on a supercomputer.
