Within this context, the 2025 edition of HPCSIM – Frontiers of High-Performance & Cloud Computing in Modeling and Simulation, organized under the patronage of ETPAHPC and with the support of EuroCC Italy, establishes itself as a valuable event for exploring innovations in parallel computing and simulations.
HPCSIM25: A Meeting Point for the Future of Computing

This event is designed for researchers, professionals, and technicians from scientific and engineering disciplines. Over the course of two days, participants will be guided by international experts in discovering the most advanced computing technologies, innovative methodologies, and emerging applications in simulation.
The program will address topics of current relevance, including hardware-agnostic solutions, simulations employing advanced numerical methods, and recent progress in the integration of HPC and cloud solutions. Among the speakers on the first day, Eric Pascolo from Cineca will explore European funding programs for innovation, with particular attention to initiatives such as the AI Factory. He will also present Cineca’s advances in HPC and quantum computing, reinforcing Italy’s role in European digital innovation.
