The course, taking place on June 19 in Modena from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm at the Confindustria Emilia headquarters at via Bellinzona 27/a, aims to not only give participants a general idea of the modus operandi but also empower them to identify the HPC and data analytics needs of their company to define an investment strategy that may involve applications, software development, AI methodologies, or even the installation of new hardware.

Laureato con lode in Ingegneria energetica-nucleare all’Università di Bologna dove nel 2014 ha ottenuto il PhD dal dipartimento di Ingegneria energia nucleare e del controllo ambientale. Esperto di metodi numerici e solutori di algebra lineare sparsa per cfd, fsi e flussi bifase, in CINECA lavora come coordinatore di servizi, dalla modellistica alla visualizzazione scientifica, principalmente con strumenti open source come Open FOAM, in progetti di ricerca europei e di natura industriale.

She obtained a Ph.D. in Mathematics with a thesis on tensorial and matrix decompositions for image classification. Currently, he works in the HPC Department of CINECA, focusing on the use of HPC technologies in artificial intelligence projects.

Ha conseguito il Master in High Performance Computing presso la SISSA di Trieste. Ha lavorato come ricercatore HPC presso OGS nel campo dell’oceanografia previsionale e attualmente ricopre il ruolo di HPC solution architect e project manager in CINECA nell’ambito delle azioni di trasferimento tecnologico e innovazione verso le industrie, in particolare PMI.
