Quantum Computing and Industry: a workshop to transform, innovate, and revolutionise the production sector

EuroCC Italy supports the event “Quantum Computing and Simulation Workshop: Industry Session”, promoted by the Quantum Computing and Simulation Center of the University of Padua and scheduled for Friday, 13th October at Palazzo Franchetti, Venice.

The event, designed as a roundtable workshop, represents a crucial meeting point between scientific research and the industrial sector, focusing on the growing importance of quantum computing and simulations in the national and international technological and productive landscape.

Taking part in the roundtable moderated by Simone Montager (University of Padua) will be Simone Brunozzi (General Partner of Rialto Venture), Luciano Viverit (CEO of BaseSquare), and Alessandra Scotti (Institutional Relations & Scouting at LIFTT). They will provide insights for deep reflection on the potential and challenges of quantum computing in industrial practice.

Quantum computing, with its ability to process information at previously unimaginable speeds and complexities, indeed has the potential to revolutionise sectors such as pharmaceuticals, finance, and artificial intelligence. Its integration into the industrial sector could lead to groundbreaking innovations, making this workshop a must-attend event for anyone interested in the future of technology and science.

The event will take place in person, from 2 pm to 4 pm.Participation is free, subject to registration through the designated form.
