In recent years, driven by emerging technologies that are increasingly shaping the ecosystem around us, it is essential not only to analyze the present but also to anticipate future developments, envisioning the next stages of progress. In this context, industry competitiveness, particularly in relation to the adoption of new technologies, has become an increasingly crucial topic. But what does the future hold for industry?
To explore these themes, on November 25th, EuroCC Italy hosted a webinar on corporate competitiveness, looking ahead to 2035. The event delved into the potential of emerging technologies and how they could transform the industrial landscape in the years to come.
Industry Competitiveness 2035: EuroCC Italy’s Webinar
The webinar, featuring Eleonora Barelli (Head of Education and Foresight at Fondazione IFAB) and Giada Sechi (Junior Project Manager and Researcher at Fondazione IFAB), provided an important opportunity for discussion and in-depth analysis. During the session, the results of the research “Industry Competitiveness 2035: Four Scenarios on How Emerging Technologies Will Shape the Future of Industry”, conducted by the ICSC Observatory, were presented.
This study, part of the broader field of Future Studies, was carried out in collaboration with futurists from Future Platform. Thanks to this partnership, four future scenarios were outlined, exploring competitiveness prospects for medium-to-large Italian companies, supported by the evolution of artificial intelligence and its enabling technologies. The report, presented and discussed during the webinar, also provides valuable strategic insights and raises open questions, with the aim of stimulating reflections among industry professionals and academics.
